Aquarium Day with Daddy

Daddy and I spend Fridays together while mommy is at work. Today we decided to do something really special and go to the Dallas World Aquarium. It was great! We saw fish, sea horses, alligators, sting rays, sharks, flamingos, penguins, otters, birds, monkeys, and snakes. My favorite was chasing the otter. I loved watching it swim by and then chase it down the glass.

The Wall Family

Cousins (Madison, Aiden, Caleb, & me)
we're saying "Yea"...I always put both arms up when I say it

Hunting for Eggs

While at Nana & Papa's house we got to go hunt for Easter eggs. I'm getting pretty good at it. Rather than just picking up one egg and being done (like I did at my Preschool Easter party), I now run and try to get as many as I can. Personally, I like to place them in hiding spots and go back and find them. It's great fun!

(I'm "hiding" and egg in baby Aiden's stroller.)

Houston Zoo

For Spring Break, mommy & I headed down to Houston to break up the week. One day we went to the zoo with Uncle Chris, Aunt Melissa, and cousins Caleb & Madison. We had a lot of fun looking at all the animals.

I'm not much for riding in the stroller so I helped Aunt Melissa push it.

I loved the elephants.

Me, Uncle Chris, and Caleb on the big frog.

Me, Uncle Chris, Caleb & Madison riding a dolphin.

We got to practice driving a boat.

The four of us in a gopher hole. We got to pop up out of a hole just like the gophers do!

Caleb helped keep me from running away by holding my hand. I love Caleb!

Little Boy Meets Grill

Nana Jo and Grampa sent me a fun package today. In it was a summer outfit from Mammaw and this cool apron set. It has two oven mits but I didn't keep them on long enough for this picture. I'm all set to become an expert in the kitchen and on the grill. Bobby Flay had better watch out.

Snow

We didn't post earlier this week that it snowed. Monday night when mommy & I were at church, we walked out to our car COVERED with snow. Well, it's snowing again! Twice in one week....and it's March! Crazy Texas weather.

Today I was sound asleep at preschool when mommy came in and said we had to go home because it was snowing. They didn't want us driving on slick roads so everyone had to go home early. The snow started falling really hard around 3:00 so daddy took me outside to play. Here are some pictures.

Canton

I've heard mommy talk a lot about a place called Canton. I was told I've been there but I was still in mommy's tummy. I don't remember anything about it. Anyway, Nana and Aunt Pat went to Canton today and when they came back to Pa & Gran's house, they let me play with their Canton cart. I think I'm pretty good at pushing it around. They also brought me back a fun toy. If you can push fun carts at Canton and get fun toys there too, it must be a place I'd like. I'll have to convince daddy though because he says that Canton is for girls, not for cool guys like me.

Helpin'

Today the weather was beautiful, we didn't have anywhere we had to be, and we heard that Aunt Pat was cooking gumbo so we headed to Athens for the afternoon. We worked outside in the yard to help Pa & Gran. I was a big helper.
Raking leaves with a rake just my size.

Helping Gran rake up the leaves daddy cut off.

Gran showed me exactly how to do it.

Helpin' Gran pull weeds.

Taking my first taste of dirt. Yumm-O.

Watching daddy trim the bushes.

I helped daddy keep the extension cord straight.

It is hard work helping daddy.

I managed to get a little playing in. I had to test out my new bat & ball.

I loved playing with Pa.

Lots of PoPo cars

Everyone knows how much I like to ride in my police car. Well I got to see a lot of real police cars. Daddy took me to see all the police cars that showed up for the funeral of Dallas Police Officer Victor Lozada. There were police officers from as far away as Baltimore, MD, New Orleans, LA and Orange County, FL. We stood along the street and watched them all pass by. It was amazing!!
