This morning Jackson & I had a lot of errands to run so I thought we'd start off by going to the park and letting him get some energy out. We were in Frisco so we went to the Frisco Commons Park. I forgot about Jackson's hatred of dirty feet and had him in sandals so the park full of sand and wood chips was not any fun for him. Luckily Frisco Commons Park has a lot of green grass and plenty of other places to play other than the playground. Anyway, we walked down to the globe water feature and the fun began. Jackson started off by just putting his hands in the water but before long, he was ALL in! Why not I thought? I always have an extra pair of clothes and a towel in the car so there was nothing holding us back. I did feel bad for the poor mom that was watching us with her little girl all nicely sitting at the picnic table. When we started to walk off, they were walking down. Last I heard of their conversation before we got too far away, the little girl was begging her mom to take her shoes off so she could play in the water...hee hee hee.

What it would be like...
I've always wondered what Michael's mom went through when she raised Marc & Michael. Two one year olds...two two year olds...two three year olds. It makes me tired thinking about it. Last Monday, I got a small taste of it. Jackson and I kept Brady all day while his dad worked and his mommy was out of town. Brady is just 5 months younger than Jackson. The whole day they were running and into all the toys we had. I finally got them outside hoping that the pool and sprinkler would help burn some energy. By the time lunch came, all of us were ready for a nap. Below are a few pictures I was able to snap in between all the running. We had a great day but I must say that I am glad I only have one 2 year old little boy...not two!

Mrs. Kristi Turned 40!
This was the cake that mommy walked out of the house with. I LOVE cake and tried to take a bite right out of it but mommy caught me.

Mickey Mouse Backpack
Ms. Wanda and her family went to Mickey's house last week. They were determined to bring me back a Mickey Mouse backpack and wound up searching high and low. This backpack is a special find. I can't wait to use it when I go back to Preschool Pals in the fall. Thank you Ms. Wanda! I love it!

Crazy Mower
I know it looks like I'm pushing a baby walker but it's actually my mower. I mow the patio all the time. Tonight I decided that I needed my shades on while I mow because that's how daddy does it.

Summer Heat
What do you do on days that it is supposed to be 102 degrees? You go outside and play in the water....at 9am. Yep, we were outside already in the water by 9am. Daddy was mowing the yard so mommy & I played in the back. We had to get out and play early because by noon, even if you're in the water, it's just too hot to be outside.

Color Me Mine
I know it's been a few weeks since our last post. We've been busy busy busy. Mommy was at Kids Kamp last all last week. Nana Jo & Grampa came to my house to stay with me while daddy worked. If you want to see pictures of what I did with them, you'll have to check out their blog.
Today mommy & I went to paint pottery. We did a piece a few weeks ago but mommy forgot to take pictures. We'll post a picture of the finished project. It was a lot of fun (& cheap too!...the painting fee on Mondays for preschoolers is only $1).

Happy 4th of July
To celebrate the 4th of July, mommy, daddy, & I met up with the Darwins and went to Frisco Freedom Fest. It was a lot of fun! We walked around and saw the firemen and policemen. We even got to pet a real cow. In the end, it was the fireworks that I liked best.

Mr. Safety Jr.
This is from mommy:
One of my favorite ways to describe Michael is "Mr. Safety". Because of his line of work, he tends to have a mind for safety. Tonight Michael was at work and Jackson was driving his Little Tykes Police Coupe around the house. He stopped, got out of the car, and walked over to me with a serious look on his face. He said, "Where is my seat belt?" Only Michael's child would ask for a seat belt in his toy car. I hope I gave a suitable answer by saying that I don't know where his seat belt is because we all know that anytime we're in the car, we must wear our seat belt. Maybe I should take this up with Little Tykes?

Rainforest
Today mommy took me over to the Rosemeade Rainforest. It is a HUGE splash park with a lazy river and a few water slides. I went down a little slide once but then preferred just to run around in the water and get splashed by the other kids. There were a few squirt guns that I had a lot of fun playing with. I don't think the people I squirted were having as much fun as I was but hey...if you're going to be at a splash park, shouldn't you expect to get a little wet?

Movie Night
One of my favorite things to do at Nana & Papa's house is climb up on their bed (via the puppy stairs there on the left) and watch movies. Caleb, Madison, and I snuggled up one night for a movie and daddy caught these pictures.

Swimming
This past week I've been on vacation. Mommy had a camp to go to so daddy & I went down to Nana & Papa's house. Uncle Marc, Aunt Kathy, Cousin Aiden, Uncle Chris, Aunt Melissa, Cousin Caleb, and Cousin Madison were all there. It was a lot of fun.
I haven't been in the swimming pool since last summer and I didn't think I would like it. The first time they tried to take me to the pool, I ran away kicking and screaming. Nana thought maybe if I had my own lobster to ride on I'd like the pool better. She was right. Once I was floating on my lobster, I was loving the pool. Here are some pictures. (The last picture is Uncle Marc & Cousin Aiden)

Got Joy??
This week has been Vacation Bible School. We're talking about the JOY we have in Jesus. Now that I am a big 2 year old, I get to go into the assembly with the great big 3, 4, & 5 year olds! In the assembly we sing fun songs and watch a puppet show. It's the best! Mommy caught me dancing today. I don't mean to brag but I am the best dancer in my class. OK so I might be the only one who dances in my class but that should make me the best, right?

Smile Daddy!
When mommy is away, daddy and I get a little silly. Tonight we decided to see if we could take some pictures of ourselves for mommy to seen when she gets home. I think some of them are pretty good....they get a little goofy towards the end.
