Lots of visits
While we were in Lubbock, we got to see lots of people. Here are a few pictures from our trip... We had lunch with Aunt Steph, Uncle Ken, & cousin Emily. I didn't do much eating, I was too interested in Emily and saying "baby".
We stayed with Uncle Marc & Aunt Kathy. They're having a baby (Aiden) in a couple of months. I made sure I gave them lots of practice.
We also went to eat with Boz...nope, not Boz the Big Green Bear, Boz the Doctor. Dr. Boswell (Boz) is one of daddy's friends. They've been friends forever. Boz has a new baby, Addison. She is a cutie. I love all the babies and I loved to say "baby" all the time.
I had a good time playing with Mason. His daddy & my daddy were friends at Tech. He's a year older than I am so he showed me the ropes. He has some really cool toys that I got to play with.
This is Mason's mommy, Mrs. Sarah. Mason has a new baby brother Owen. This baby is a lot smaller than all the babies I know. I never even said "baby" around him. He was just born last week. Tiny baby. Mason sure did like him (until he got tired and tried to head-butt him). I learned what NOT to do.

Mr. Jeremy's wedding
That's me with daddy and daddy's friend Jeremy (we're a good looking group of guys aren't we?). Mr. Jeremy is the reason for our roadtrip...first to Midland to visit family then to Lubbock/Plainview for the festivities. Mr. Jeremy was a good friend of daddy's at Tech. He finally got married this weekend and I was invitied! Daddy had to wear a tux but I got to wear cool shorts. It was a lot of fun...lots of music and good food. To be completely honest, I didn't see much of the wedding (it just wasn't that interesting for a little guy like me). Mommy took me outside where there were other little ones running around. It was perfect...just me and 2 pretty girls. I had a great time chasing them around. That's what walking can do for you...gives you an advantage with the ladies.

Finally
For all of you out there wondering if I was ever going to walk (on my own), yes I am. Mommy & daddy kept me cooped up in the car for 5 hours and my legs just couldn't take it any longer. Once I hit the ground at Mammaw's, I couldn't bear the thought of crawling around from room to room (took much too long) so I stretched out my legs and walked. No one could believe it. If you need proof...there are videos on the way.

Driving
Once we finally got to Midland, we were able to see mommy's Mammaw & her Aunt Ruby & Uncle Jim. Uncle Jim has a cool golf cart that he lets me drive. They live in a retirement community so it's ok for me to drive the golf cart...I probably drive better than most there! Here are some pictures. These next pictures are of my next attempt at driving. Uncle Jim wouldn't let me have the keys to his new car so I just practiced with it in the garage. I think I like this one better! I might need a booster seat though.

Road Trip
So we took a road trip...a LONG road trip for a little guy like me. Mommy, daddy, & I packed up and left last week for Midland. We drove a long time. Luckily mommy's friend, Mrs. Dianna, let me borrow their cool DVD player so I could watch Boz. I watched Boz the whole time...over and over and over. Mommy decided all rules for tv watching would be thrown out the window to preserve sanity in the car. It was great!

BIG Milestone
Today was the day of a BIG milestone. Let me tell the story with pictures...After church, mommy, daddy, and I went to eat at Double Dave's Pizza. It was YUMMY. Daddy was in the Explorer and mommy & I were in the Honda (mommy had to be at church REALLY early so daddy & I slept in and brought another car.)
Here I am trying to stay cool in the backseat of mommy's car.
There's the milestone...mommy's Honda hit 100,000 miles as we drove from church to Double Dave's. How exciting. Actually I should say "my car" turned 100,000 miles since mommy keeps telling me that this is going to be my car one day. I know, you were probably hoping that while we were at Double Dave's, I just got up and ran across the floor and have been walking around ever since. Nope, still not walking but the car did hit 100,000 miles. Whoo hooo!

Boo Boo
This afternoon while I was napping, mommy was cooking. She cut her finger and had a band-aide on it when I woke up. I was facinated with her finger so she taught me how to say "Boo Boo". Well, I decided I needed a boo boo too. When I was taking a bath, I bumped my head on the faucet. I was tough...not a tear or a flinch. Mommy didn't think anything of it until she washed my face and felt a goose egg on my forehead. I have my first real boo boo. Mommy had just read on my friend Caden's blog about his bump on his head (his look like it hurt a lot more than mine...poor Caden) and so she decided to try to put an ice pack on it. I was having none of it but did enjoy holding the ice pack and trying to eat it. Here are some pictures. All is well now...we'll see how I look in the morning.

My Very Own Boz
One of mommy's friends, Ms. Amber, was so sweet and gave me a Boz of my very own. I love him. Thank you Ms. Amber! Now I can have Boz without having to watch the DVD or listen to the CD....mommy and daddy are very thankful too.

I Have a Badge
I have a badge of my very own. A man in New Mexico made it for me. It's not exactly like daddy's...mine is a Deputy US Marshall. Pretty neat huh?
